​I'm a big "attention to details" person. The custom logo on your invitation, the way grandma looks at you, the light hitting just right, your furry child taking a nap on your dress before walking you down the aisle? Chef's kiss. As you might have guessed I'm also for romanticizing life a bit as well.
I thrive being in the moment, but I live with the awareness that every one of those moments is fleeting and because of this, have the urge to enjoy and capture as much of it as I possibly can. I love the feeling of genuine connection, authentic passion and sparks of creativity. So I guess it's not a huge surprise that my choice of career ended up being artistic in nature.

I received my degree in documentary production with a minor in graphic design, but had a camera in my hand many, many, years before that. I was always recording my friends and family's experiences. I even hiked part of the A.T. and my trail name was "Click" because I just had to make sure every ounce of that epic adventure was captured.
​
One of my favorite things about going back home is pulling out my mom's huge stack of photo albums and combing through pages of photos. We would all sit together in the living room and watch tape after tape of home videos on my mom's VHS player of our lives as kids and all of our adventures together.
​
I am the wife to a selfless and hardworking partner- Lee, (who also second shoots with me) and momma of two amazing kiddos and our 2 wild pups and I still continue to carry on the role of documentarian for our family so that one day my kids will be able to come home and view hours of photos & videos that their mom edited on a "ancient" Macbook Pro of their wonder filled lives and memories that we shared together.

This is not just a business to me. What I "do" and how I create is my way of life. It's my legacy, and the films I create become living legacies too.​
